500 Unit Apartment Complex in the West End of Richmond, VA – Summer 2015

The Plymouth Planning Commission approved the Starkweather Station development. The project is expected to come before the city commission next month.

In a joint venture investment project with a Developer, Penn Design Group, LLC plans to utilize Design-Build Construction on a 500 unit apartment complex in the West End of Richmond, VA.

This new $30 million housing development involves 10 to 12 four-story apartment buildings totaling 400 two-bedroom apartments and 100 one-bedroom apartments, plus single-family houses.

The apartments will range in size from about 800 to about 1,1330 square feet and will have 10-foot ceilings, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, washers and dryers and balconies or patios and lower level single car garages.

Penn Design Group, LLC will be involved in the project 100% by using its own Architectural & Engineering Consultants, serving as the General Contractor and assisting the Developer in real estate strategic planning efforts.

This project is currently in the Planning & Schematic Design Phase and is scheduled for construction in the Summer of 2015. More details to follow!
